The trial of three accused in the theft of millions of rand in foreign currency at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm in Bela-Bela is set to begin at the Modimolle Regional Court.
The accused – Immanuela David and siblings Floriana and Ndilinasho Joseph – face charges linked to the February 2020 break-in and theft at the President’s game farm.
The matter was postponed a few months ago to allow Floriana Joseph time to attend to her pregnancy. Proceedings are expected to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the high-profile heist that has sparked national and international interest.
