TS Galaxy FC have officially parted ways with head coach Adnan Beganovic and Technical Adviser Nermin Basic following a poor run of results in the Betway Premiership.
The club confirmed the decision through president and chairman Tim Sukazi, who acknowledged the difficult nature of the call.
“It is quite unfortunate that we had to come to a decision to part ways with coaches Adnan and Nermin following the unfortunate string of results in the Betway Premiership,” said Sukazi in the statement by the club.
“They both made a huge contribution to our club in a very short period. We thank them for their professionalism, commitment, and hard work, and wish them well in their future endeavours.”
With immediate effect, former Bafana Bafana striker Bernard Parker will step in to lead the team as interim head coach.
The Rockets will now be hoping that the change in leadership can spark a turnaround as they look to stabilise their campaign in the closing stages of the season.
Parker’s first assignment is a tricky encounter against relegation candidates Magesi FC who are high on confidence following a 5-2 win over Durban City last weekend.
