PARKWEG – Parkweg police have launched an investigation into the disappearance of Mr. Motlalepula Hendrick Makhatha (58), who was last seen on 15 October 2024 at 15:15 in the Happy Valley area of Westdene, Bloemfontein. The missing person, who is homeless and had been sleeping on the hill of Happy Valley, was known to perform car-watching duties for money. His family reported him missing at Parkweg Detective Service today after failing to locate him despite inquiries at hospitals and the mortuary. Mr. Makhatha suffers from high blood pressure, raising concerns for his well-being.
Police are urging anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact Parkweg Police Duty Officer on 082 466 7490. Alternatively, they can call the Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or drop an anonymous tip off on the MySAPS App.
