Media Statement POLOKWANE – The South African Police Service in Orighstad under Sekhukhune District are investigating a case of murder following the gruesome discovery of a lifeless body of a 34 year-old woman with stab wounds at Maepa Ramakgane village on Saturday, 05 October 2024 at about 17:30. It is reported that the horrific discovery was made by the deceased’s boyfriend when he returned home from Burgersfort. The woman was found lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds on the upper body. Upon further observation, it was discovered that the deceased’s belongings, including a handbag and cellphone were missing. Police and members of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were summoned to the scene and the victim was certified dead on their arrival. Police have opened a case of murder and further launched a manhunt for the suspects.
