The Ad Hoc Committee continues its work on Tuesday, with outgoing National Prosecuting Authority head Advocate Shamila Batohi set to take the stand.
Batohi, who has led the NPA since 2019, is expected to address several key issues relating to the organisation’s performance, challenges, and ongoing reforms.
Her appearance follows the conclusion of testimony by Investigating Directorate Against Corruption head Advocate Andrea Johnson, who wrapped up her evidence last week.
On Monday, committee members met to discuss progress on their interim report, reviewing work done since the inquiry began last month.
