Media Statement POLOKWANE – Northam police are investigating a case of business robbery committed at Hellen Park Extension 20 Tuckshop on Friday 21 June 2024 at about 21:00. According to the report, the victim was at the tuckshop when four unknown African males approached him, as he was ready to close the shop. They instructed him to return to the shop and demanded money. While others were searching the tuckshop, one of them hit him with a firearm on the forehead. They later robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash, groceries, and two cellphones before fleeing the scene. All stolen items were valued at R11700.00. Police were notified, and a business robbery case was registered for further investigation.
