Media Statement POLOKWANE – The Police in Jane Furse under Sekhukhune District arrested a 23-year-old suspect following a major recovery of drugs, estimated at a street value of R4 million, on Friday, 27 September 2024, outside a business enterprise at Jane Furse Complex. Crime Prevention Unit members in the area received a tip-off about possible possession of drugs. They promptly responded and followed up on the information. The suspect driving a white Hyundai i20, was spotted. They tactically approached him. Upon searching him, he was found in possession of two black plastic bags containing tablets, suspected of being mandrax. He was immediately arrested. The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the Police in Limpopo, Major General Samuel Manala, has praised the team for the sterling job. The suspect will appear before Nebo Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 30 September 2024, facing charges of possession of drugs. The police investigations are continuing. Ends
