POLOKWANE – The SAPS Provincial Corporate Communication in Limpopo, represented by Sergeant Maphure Manamela, visited local radio stations on Friday, 01 November 2024, to announce the readiness of the newly built Phaudi Police Station in Moletjie. During broadcasts on Mohau FM based in Matlala policing area and Moletji FM, in Seshego policing area, Sergeant Manamela informed residents who previously travelled to Matlala and Seshego for police services that they can now access a full range of services at the new station, which is fully equipped with the necessary resources and personnel. Community members are encouraged to support SAPS by reporting any criminal activities in their areas. Services offered at the station will include certification, affidavits, and assistance with complaints. New vehicles were also handed over to enhance service delivery and increase patrols in identified crime hotspots. The new police station aims to address criminal trends such as burglaries, stock theft, and gender-based violence. The station’s landline was also shared with the community.
