25-year-old Mozambican national, Armando Joaquin Pacula, has been joined as accused number two in the murder case of Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras. Police acted on a tip-off, went to Pacula’s place of residence and arrested him. He has been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Murder and Contravention of the Immigration Act.
Pacula made his first appearance at the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court, where he is expected to be joined with the first accused, Victor Mthethwa Majola (44). Both are charged in connection with the killing of Stock outside the Zambesi Building in Johannesburg’s Central Business District (CBD) on 16 December 2025.
The case was postponed to 09 February 2026 for address verification of the accused. Pacula remains in custody until the next appearance. The NPA remains committed to ensuring that all those implicated in the commission of the offence are brought before the court and that justice is served without fear or favour.
