Miss Sa 2024 Mia Le Roux Marries Longtime Love Luke Ten Oever
Miss South Africa 2024 Mia le Roux has married her longtime partner, Luke ten Oever, in a romantic wedding ceremony held at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek, Western Cape, on 16 October 2026.
Le Roux shared glimpses of their special day on Instagram, posting wedding photos and videos alongside the caption, “Mr and Mrs Ten Oever.”
The beauty queen looked elegant in an ivory satin wedding gown designed by Anel Botha.
In emotional wedding vows, Ten Oever praised Le Roux for teaching him that faith is stronger than fear, describing becoming her husband as one of his greatest honours. He ended his vows with the Afrikaans words, “My liefie, ons het dit gemaak,” meaning “My love, we made it.”
Le Roux also delivered a heartfelt message, thanking her husband for always recognising her worth in a world that had sometimes made her feel less than others.
The couple began dating in 2023 and publicly announced their engagement in July 2025 after initially choosing to celebrate the milestone privately.
Le Roux made history in 2024 as the first deaf woman to be crowned Miss South Africa. She later represented the country at Miss Universe in Mexico but withdrew before the finale due to health concerns.
Their wedding celebrations are also expected to feature on SABC3’s Top Billing.
Friends, fans and fellow beauty queens have since flooded the couple’s social media posts with congratulatory messages.
