Midrand Police arrest four suspects in murder case at Midrand residential complex

GAUTENG – Midrand, 12 December 2024; Midrand Police worked around the clock to trace and arrest four suspects involved in the murder case of 37-year-old Chukwunta Friday Julius.

Julius, a Nigerian national, was assaulted to death over the weekend at Midrand’s Protea Estate residential complex and sadly succumbed to his injuries at Tembisa hospital on Tuesday morning.

Midrand police worked tirelessly, following all leads to trace all suspects involved and on Wednesday morning, police arrested the first two suspects. A total of four suspects are now in police custody and are expected to make their first appearance before the Alexandra Magistrate Court on a charge of murder on Friday, 13 December 2024.

The four male suspects are aged, 20, 24,27 and 28 years old.
