Media Statement POLOKWANE – Members of Provincial Organised Crime Unit have arrested five suspects for possession of illicit drugs, on Thursday, 21 November 2024 at Paledi mall, taxi rank in Mankweng policing under Capricorn District, after receiving information about suspects distributing drugs, around the area. The members activated an operation, which led to the arrest of five suspects being two females and three males. During the search, the suspects were found in possession of different types of drugs such as Nyaope, Crystal meth and Rock. All the drugs are at an estimated street value of R158 845-00. The suspects are expected to appear before Mankweng Magistrate’s Court for possession of illicit drugs.
The Police investigations are ongoing.
