Media Invitation: SAPS hosts passing-out parades for 400 new police officers

MTHATHA – The Minister of Police, General Bheki Cele together with the National Commissioner of the South African Police Service (SAPS), General Fannie Masemola will welcome 419 newly trained police officers this week.

The parades will take place on Tuesday, 26 March 2024 at the SAPS Academy Mthatha and on Wednesday, 27 March 2024 at the SAPS Academy All Saints in the Eastern Cape.

249 of these newly trained police officers underwent the 9-month Basic Police Learning Development Programme (BPLDP) and form part of Project 10k.

The Minister of Police, General Bheki Cele, will deliver the keynote address at the SAPS Academy Mthatha.
