NORTH WEST – The MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Wessels Morweng and the Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General Patrick Asaneng are set to release the 2024/2025 3rd Quarter Crime Statistics.

The challenge in the Province has been illegal mining activities which had largely been stemmed by an ongoing Vala Umgodi operations. Both the MEC and Acting Provincial Commissioner will expand on operations that led to the recent arrest of 22 undocumented nationals from other African countries and Pakistan.

The media briefing is scheduled as follows:
