Media Invitation: Deputy Minister of Police to lead SAPS operational inspection tour in Limpopo Province

POLOKWANE – The Deputy Minister of Police, Ms. Polly Boshielo, will lead the Safer Festive Season Inspection Tour in Limpopo Province on Sunday, 22 December 2024, following the nationwide launch of the Safer Festive Season Campaign.

The Deputy Minister will be accompanied by the MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Ms. Violet Mathye, the Deputy National Commissioner for Crime Detection Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya and Limpopo Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe as they assess Limpopo’s operational readiness for the Safer Festive Season campaign.

Since the official launch of the Safer Festive Operations on 11 October 2024, there has been increased police presence aimed at preventing and combating crime, with a focus on countering serious and violent crime during this period.
