Maswanganyi breaks silence after Pirates’ departure
Patrick Maswanganyi has broken his silence following his departure from Orlando Pirates, expressing his gratitude to the club, his teammates, staff and supporters.
The attacking midfielder brought his time with the Buccaneers to an end after completing his move away from the Soweto giants.
Maswanganyi became a popular figure among Pirates supporters during his spell at the club. His performances and creativity made him an important part of the team.

“Wearing the black and white jersey has been a privilege and a responsibility that I have never taken for granted,” Maswanganyi said.

“I am proud to have been part of the Orlando Pirates family,” he added.
Maswanganyi went on to thank everyone who played a role during his time at the club.
“I leave Orlando Pirates with immense respect and appreciation for the club, its people and its supporters.”
