POLOKWANE – Police in Dennilton have launched a manhunt for a group of armed suspects who robbed a filling station in Moutsiya Mall, Dennilton, outside Sekhukhune, in the early hours of Monday, 02 September 2024. At approximately 02:00, a group of around seven suspects, armed with pistols and rifles and wearing face masks, stormed into the garage, pointing staff with firearms. They blasted the drop-in safe and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects, who spoke in Ndebele, fled the scene in a white single cab bakkie without registration numbers. Police are urging the public to come forward with information leading to the arrest of the suspects. The investigating officer, Sergeant Junior Mashiane, can be contacted on 076 818 3828.
