Manhunt launched for suspect responsible for the killing of a 92-year-old woman

CACADU – Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect responsible for killing a 92-year-old woman between 20 and 22 November 2024 at Bengu Administrative Area outside Cacadu.

It is alleged that on Friday 22 November 2024 at about 20:30, police were summoned to the scene of murder.  On their arrival, they found the deceased naked in a wheelbarrow in her neighbour’s homestead.

According to the neighbour, the deceased was staying alone, and she was last seen on Wednesday 20 November 2024 and was never reported as missing to the police.

Police are investigating a case of murder and no arrest has been made.
