Media Statement POLOKWANE – The Police in Tzaneen initiated a thorough investigation and launched a manhunt for the suspects involved in a recent house robbery and rape incident. The incident, which occurred on Sunday night, 21 April 2024 at about 22:00 in Kheisi village, Bolobedu South, has prompted swift action from police. According to preliminary reports, the suspects forcibly entered the woman’s residence, armed with a firearm and sharp objects, and demanded money. They then took an undisclosed amount of cash and her cellphone. The suspects blindfolded the victim, and one of them raped her. The suspects fled the scene with stolen items. Police urge anyone with information regarding the identities or whereabouts of the suspects to come forward and assist in apprehending them.
