Media Statement POLOKWANE- The Police in Dennilton have launched a manhunt for a group of suspects who committed an armed robbery on Friday, 21 June 2024, at about 13:30 on the Philadelphia main road. According to reports, two employees of a company selling meat were driving in a company vehicle, when a white BMW overtook their vehicle and barricaded the road restricting their movement of their vehicle. Suspects armed with firearms alighted from the BMW, they pointed at victims with firearms and instructed the driver and his crew to drive through Moteti road. The victims obliged, and the suspects then after a while stopped them and demanded money. The suspects searched them and made off with an undisclosed amount of money and the car keys of the victim’s vehicle. Police were alerted about the incident, and a case of armed robbery was opened. The suspects are still at large.
