Media Statement CHRIS HANI DISTRICT – Police attached at Bridge Camp SAPS have launched manhunt for unknown suspect/s involved in a murder of an 86-year-old woman at Tyelerha Administrative Area outside Cofimvaba. This follows after Police were summoned to a scene of murder on Sunday, 10 March 2024, where on arrival they found the body of woman with severe injuries. According to the information, the elderly woman was staying alone in her home and was last seen on Friday 08 March 2024, by the neighbours. The motive behind this horrific incident is unknown, and circumstances surrounding this incident forms part of investigation.
