Media Statement POLOKWANE – The Police in Mokwakwaila activated manhunt for a group of armed suspects who fled with equipment from one of the high schools after a robbery incident in Mokgwathi village, in the early hours of Wednesday, 01 May 2024. According to the report, the security guards were on duty at the school, when one of them who was at the guard room, was surprised by two unknown armed men, who gained entry by pushing the door open, and he thought it was his colleague. They allegedly pointed him with firearms, robbed him of a cellphone, and tied him. Others went to the school offices and forced doors opened . They then stole the valuable items worth thousands of rands , which were identified as :
03× Black Lenovo laptop After incident the suspects left, the guard also managed to untie himself. Together with his colleague, they went to check, and Police were summoned to the scene. A case of business robbery was opened for further investigations.
