A 40-year-old man has been arrested in Bloemfontein, Free State, after police discovered drugs valued at more than R100,000.
The arrest took place during a routine patrol in the city center. Officers stopped the man’s car for a search and later took him to Park Road Police Station for further investigation. There, they found five plastic bags filled with crystal meth.
The suspect then led police to his apartment, where they uncovered more drugs—crystal meth, mandrax tablets—and two digital scales, believed to be used for measuring the substances.
He is expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court soon.
