Media Statement POLOKWANE – The police in Malamulele are investigating two counts of robbery with a firearm incident that took place at Xigalo village next to a local bakery on Tuesday 23 April 2024 at about 21:30. Police reports at this stage indicates that a 27-year-old male victim was allegedly standing outside a bakery together with a friend when they were approached by three unknown suspects armed with firearms. The trio demanded cellphones, searched the two male victims and subsequently managed to rob them of two cellphones valued at R2700.00. Afterwards, the three unknown suspects fled the scene on foot. The Police have since launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspects and anyone with information that can assist should contact the Investigating Officer Lieutenant Colonel Danisa Mtileni on 082 729 0229 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or nearest police station or MySAPS App. Police investigations are continuing.
