Limpopo Provincial Flying Squad Unit swiftly arrests three suspects for possession of drugs worth R50,000 in Polokwane

POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Provincial Flying Squad Unit arrested three suspects for possession and dealing in drugs during an operation conducted on Tuesday night, 19 March 2025, at approximately 23:00.

Acting on intelligence about a white sedan suspected of transporting and distributing drugs in the Polokwane CBD, officers immediately launched a lookout operation. The vehicle was swiftly located and intercepted at the corner of Bok and Devenish Streets. Upon searching the vehicle, police found three male suspects, aged between 28 and 32, in possession of heroin with an estimated street value of R50 000-00. Additionally, an undisclosed amount of cash, believed to be proceeds from drug sales, was confiscated.

The suspects were charged with possession, and dealing in drugs are scheduled to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 24 March 2025.
