POLOKWANE – Two male suspects appeared before Makhado Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 17 April 2025, after they were allegedly caught red-handed slaughtering suspected stolen cattle at Hamagau village in Tshilwavhusiku policing area. It is alleged that the shepherd was at the gracing field looking for his cattle when he suddenly came across two unknown men red-handed, slaughtering his cattle. The suspects noticed him, and ran away. He chased them until he caught one of them. The police were immediately informed about the incident and the investigations kicked started, which resulted in arrest of the second suspect. The slaughtered cattle were positively identified by the owner. The suspect, Nebonde Ndisheni (40) was granted bail and Ndlovu Gilbert (30) was remanded in police custody until 22 April 2025 for further police investigations
