More than 3000 runners have joined the Annual Mall of the North Comrades Marathon Qualifier that is hosted by the Polokwane Athletic Club on Sunday.
Limpopo Province Dr. Phophi Ramathuba shot the starting gun at 6 am for 42.2 km and 21.1km runners.
The second batch of runners for 10km and 5km started at 6:30am.
All runners started at the mall parking area, and the winner will walk away with a prize money worth R100 000.00
