Media Statement POLOKWANE – A white Kia Picanto, reported stolen at Roodepoort SAPS in Gauteng during March 2025, has been successfully recovered in Limpopo by members of the Mopani Tracking Team and Mopani Highway Patrol on Sunday afternoon, 06 April 2025. The vehicle was swiftly traced following activation by the tracking company. Members of both teams worked closely with the tracking company and launched a search operation that commenced in Burgersdorp Village within Maake policing area. Through coordinated efforts and determination, the stolen vehicle was eventually found abandoned near a graveyard on the outskirts of Moime Village. The vehicle was recovered in good condition. At this point, no suspects have been arrested. A manhunt for the suspects is ongoing, and police are appealing to members of the public for any information that may lead to their apprehension.
