LIMPOPO: Provincial Police Commissioner Lt General Thembi Hadebe has decided to retire from SAPS after her contract was not renewed on 01 May 2026
The announcement was made during the address of various SAPS stakeholders in the Vhembe District on Thursday.
Lt General Hadebe is the first female provincial police commissioner in Limpopo.
Hadebe succeeded Lt General Nneke Ledwaba on 1 May 2021
She has served in various levels of command throughout her 40 years of service.
Provincial Commissioner joined the service in 1986. She holds a diploma in Police Administration, a B Tech Degree in Policing, and an LLB with Unisa.
