21 June 2024 – The 2024 ABC Motsepe National Playoffs finalist were decided on Friday afternoon at the Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium out in Upington.
Kruger United from Mpumalanga booked their ticket to the finals with a well-earned 1-0 victory over Thames FC of North West in the first semi-final of the day.
Eastern Cape’s Highbury FC, whose journey to the ABC Motsepe National Playoffs was remarkable, beat Njampela FC of KwaZulu Natal 2-1 in the second semi-final of the day.
Both Kruger United and Highbury FC have gained promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship for the 2024/5.
They will now battle it out on Sunday, 23 June 2024 for bragging rights, to be crowned 2023/4 ABC Motsepe National Playoffs Champions.
The winner of the final will walk away with R 1.25 million in prize money, while the silver medallists will receive an amount of R600 000.
The Top goal scorer and Player of the Tournament will each receive an amount of R100 000.
The final of the ABC Motsepe 2024 National Playoffs will be played at Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium at 15h00. This match will be broadcast live on SABC 1
