Media Statement POTCHEFSTROOM – The police in Klerksdorp is requesting the community’s assistance in locating a missing Ethiopian teen, 17-year-old Firehiwot Alamu, from Latham area in Klerksdorp. According to information received she was last seen by her Teacher on Monday, 18 March 2024. Extensive investigations were conducted and all leads were followed up with no success. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing maroon pants, a maroon and green T-shirt, green jersey and white tekkies. She is dark in complexion with brown eyes, a medium built body, 1.6m in height and has long black hair. Anyone who may have information regarding Alamu’s whereabouts can contact the Investigating Officer, Capt Kagiso Disipi, on Cell: 082 856 1748 or call Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
