Former Bosasa Chief Exectutive Officer (CEO) Gavin Watson is trending as South Africans revisit his untimely death.
Waston was declared dead at 05:27 on 26 August 2019.
However, his death remains a typical Hollywood movie storyline.

Watson died on the R21 as it approaches OR Tambo International Airport.
What’s puzzling is the fact that the police who first arrived at the scene were alerted at 04:50 – only to arrive at the scene much later.
Reports have it that paramedics from a private company, Cape Medics, were the ones who were on the scene and did all the observation after they arrived around 05:16.
He was pronounced dead at 05:27 and no information about any attempt to resuscitate or treat Watson was mentioned in any report.

Sources from private paramedics and Johannesburg EMS revealed that they were told to turn back since Cape Medics were already on site.
At the accident scene, only a wallet was recovered with the personal identification cards of the former Bosasa boss.
Of interest, his phone was not found on the scene, only to be later traced to Germiston and Bryanston.
These are just some of the many questions Mzansi has yet to receive answers to.

Furthermore, police revealed that the Ekhuruleni Fire Department was on the scene to assist with cutting the vehicle to free Watson’s trapped body.
In light of this, how did the Cape Medics manage to thoroughly inspect a trapped body without proper access to it?
Mzansi questioned the accident scene, which was claimed was ‘clean’.
In the wake of Gavin Waston’s death, reports have it that a blame game ensued between family and friends over his alleged death.

After Bester’s now famous prison escape, South Africans have questioned whether Gavin Watson is in fact dead – or still alive.
According to TimesLIVE, upon his untimely death, Watson was investigated for the bribery of senior former government ministers and ex-officials from the correctional services department.
He died a day before he was set to testify before the tax evasion and money laundering inquiry.
One of the inquiries included his alleged smuggling of an estimated R500 million from South Africa.
