Media Statement LETSITELE – The South African Police Service in Letsitele opened a case of Inquest on Saturday, 21 December 2024. This was after members who were on duty received a complaint of a burnt double Cub Isuzu bakkie at Tarentaal next to the airport on Saturday 21 December 2024 at about 11h00. On arrival, they noticed a bakkie burned beyond recognition. Inside on the driver’s seat, there was an unknown deceased body burned beyond recognition. Emergency Medical Services were summoned to the scene. The occupant was certified dead and the identity of the deceased as well as the bakkie are unknown. Inquest was registered for further Investigations.
