House of Zwide actress Gaisang K Noge, who bagged the position of Dr Monthso Naledi in The Wife season two says enjoying the Showmax character is less complicated.

‘I CAN RELATE TO DR NALEDI MONTSHO’
The proficient actress Gaisang K Noge performs Mampho in e.television’s vogue drama House of Zwide and Dr Naledi Montsho in Showmax’s award-winning telenovelaThe Wife.
Noge tells Drum Magazine that she loves seeing individuals’s reactions to each characters and the way they’re so very completely different.
“I like them for various causes. Naledi is a bit simpler to play as a result of I can relate to her, so I’m extra comparable to her. I’ve gotten to know Mampho fairly nicely as a result of she has existed for over a 12 months now, so I perceive her.”
“As a performer, I by no means decide my characters, however I agree with individuals, Mampho o stout (naughty). There are instances when even I say, ‘aowa mara girl’ (no woman) when she does sure issues.
The actress provides that Mampho is dodgy and generally exhausting and didn’t develop up beneath the most effective circumstances.
“I think Qhawe and Naledi shock each other. He thinks this woman has some nerve blocking his car and not being bothered and that attracts him to her. On the other hand, she sees how charming and consistent he is. It’s cute, but boy stop it.”

‘THE WIFE’ SEASON THREE LOVE STORY
Noge’s on-screen lover Qhawe (performed by Kwenzo Ngcobo) all the time appears to seem out of nowhere when she least expects it and he’s already declaring his timeless love for her. Stalker a lot?
“Yes, his approach is a little bit stalker-like, but she does not feel threatened in any way because he is so gentle and kind. So that soft energy that he brings is attractive to her,” says Gaisang.
“I was on set shooting when my agent called me about auditioning for this role. After I was done shooting, I went to read up on her as much as I could. I was online until 2 am the following morning. I remember telling my mom that we had to get the hard copy in the morning. I went for a call back twice and the rest is history.
“Reading up on her, I quickly realized that I understood her, and I saw my face when I was reading about her.”
“There is a lot of love between Naledi and Qhawe and a lot of passion, viewers should keep watching to see how their story unfolds. For Naledi, just like anycharacter I play, as Gaisang I personally have an idea or mind map of who she is, but I let her colour herself in.”
Noge provides that viewers of the Showmax hit telenovela can anticipate extra oohs and aahs because the story progresses and they are going to be feeling all heat and fuzzy inside.
