NELSPRUIT – Police in Bushbuckridge are requesting members of the public to assist the Sekgobela family to reunite with their son, Mokopole Sekgobela (20) According to the family, their son is staying in Jan Furse and came to Bushbuckridge for holidays he was last seen on 23 December 2024 when he left home and went to a car wash around Shatale but never returned home. When he failed to return home around 20:00 on the same day, his family became worried and started looking for him at the car wash, but they were told that he proceeded to the stadium and he was not found. They have tried to contact his father in Jane Furse but also to no avail. He did not have friends around the area, and he had no cellphone in his possession During his disappearance, no one noticed the kind of clothes he was wearing. Police urge anyone with information that may assist in finding Mokopole to please contact Detective Warrant Officer Nicole Setwane on 079 391 9384 Alternatively, community members may call the Crime Stop number at 0860010111 or can send information via MySAPS App. All received information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous.
