FREE STATE – Detective in Virginia are investigating a murder case after a 48-year-old male was shot outside his house in Virginia on the 14 December 2024. It was on 14 December 2024 at about 01:30 when a 48-year-old Jacobus Willem Meintjes arrived at his home in a car with his mother. As he tried to open the gate, two men armed with guns accosted him. The victim pleaded with them not to hurt his mother. They took a bag and shot at the 48-year-old who died. A case of murder was opened for investigation and police through investigation managed to draw up identity kits of both the suspects.
