Limpopo Department of Public Works is battling to restore D673 road that links Nkowa Nkowa township (R36)and Tarental (R71).
Motorists in this area only enjoy a drivable road whenever a prominent politician is visiting Nkowankowa township.
The previous work on pothole patching and road maintenance was done during the preparation for the late Former Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni’s funeral in October 2024.
The road maintenance didn’t last longer than three months.

” We are starting next week to do resurfacing work,” said the Provincial Department Spokesperson Emmanuel Mongwe.
