The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says Government is able to collaborate with the board and administration of Rand Refinery to assist Ghana get hold of London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) Certification.

Underscoring the significance of the LBMA certificates to the federal government’s plan to develop the mineral business and make Ghana a key participant within the refinery of mineral assets, Dr Bawumia stated attaining the certification will propel Ghana to take part and exploit absolutely the advantages within the mineral worth chain.

Earlier on Monday, 31 October 2022, the Hon. Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel A. Jinapor obtained the visiting Rand Refinery delegation on the Ministry.

He indicated that his invitation to the Rand refinery is to have them maintain discussions and share concepts on tips on how to transfer ahead with the partnership that exist between the events.

He advocated for an clever and efficient collaboration between the federal government and LBMA to make sure that the certification is issued.

He took the group by way of the itinerary for the go to and hoped that will probably be a fruitful one as they will get the chance to fulfill the Vice President who he stated has been very enthusiastic about leveraging the gold business and the gold worth chain in Ghana in help of the nationwide financial system.
