Christmas came early for the learners of Arthur Blaxall School where they were showered with gifts on Wednesday.

Award winning Gospel singer Sigwili Zuma with his NPO Albinism Arise Foundation, GraceGate Media and Arts, Sibiya Funerals and Umusa Events visited the children of Arthur Blaxall School in Pietermaritzburg in the Midlands of KwaZulu Natal (KZN) to have an early Christmas celebration with them as they are returning to their homes as they have completed their exams for 2025

The visit followed the Sgwili20YearsLater Celebration event which he hosted on the 8th of November 2025 at the PMB Royal Show Grounds in PMB and the learners were invited to be part of the celebration and rendered a musical item.
“I started this NPO years ago because I wanted to prove to people leaving with albinism that you can be anything that you want in life. It doesn’t matter whether you’re living with albinism or not but the truth of the matter is that we are the same and the opportunities out there are also meant for us too,” he said.
Sgwili was accompanied by his industry friends and partners.

Sigwili said that the aim of this visit was to celebrate the learners and also formulate a long term relationship with the school.
“We will be having a long time partnership assisting the school in music and other necessarilys. I love them and I’ll ensure that their voices are heard. I want them to believe in themselves that they can be anything they want. I want them to know that they are special and that they also deserve all the good things in the world like any other people,” he said.
Blaxall school is a special school with learners that are vision impaired and that are without sight completely.

Sigwili said that they brought a 65 inch tv with packs of cosmetics for the learners and the school have all the grades.
