Thousands of tourism industry professionals from across the globe gathered in Cape Town, South Africa, for the World Travel Market (WTM) Africa 2025. The event, which ran for three days starting April 9, brought together around 5,752 participants representing approximately 99 countries.

Held annually, WTM Africa is a major platform for networking, showcasing travel innovations, and exploring business opportunities within the global tourism sector.
This year’s edition highlighted Africa’s growing role in the international travel market and provided a space for collaboration among tour operators, destination marketers, and travel media.
