Media Statement PARKTOWN – Gauteng Police conducted counterfeit goods operation and seized 1,018 illicit goods worth R 391 677-00 on Thursday, 31 October 2024 in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni District. The operation was a collaborative effort between the Gauteng Counterfeit Goods Police Unit, SAPS Boksburg, Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) Germiston and Brand holders. During the operation two suspects were arrested for dealing with counterfeit and illicit goods including cellphone accessories were seized. The arrested suspects will appear before the Magistrate court soon.
