Media Statement POLOKWANE: Four suspects, Carles Mamaila (44), Kagiso Noitira Kgatle (32), Emmanuel Mokgwathi (38) and Edward Mokgoahle (42), who are believed to be responsible for the incidents of ATM bombings in other parts of the Province were remanded in custody when they appeared before Senwamokgope periodical Magistrate’s court on Monday 09 December 2024. Their cases were remanded until next year January Thursday 16, 2024 for further investigations and possible Bail application. Their arrests were effected in the morning of Saturday, 30th November 2024. The members of Limpopo Provincial Tracking Team, Provincial Murder and Robbery Unit, received information about suspects who were planning a possible ATM bominng in the area of Tzaneen. The information was operationalised, leading to the four suspects being arrested at Sephukubje village in the Sekgosese policing area. During the arrest, the police recovered items including 03× Ruger 44 rifles, 40×live ammunitions, 03 × explolgel explosives, a number of blasting cartridges explosives, balaclavas and handgloves, among other items . More arrests are still expected.
