Former President Jacob Zuma Given Clean Bill of Health Following Routine Medical Check-Up, MK Party Confirms

The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party has dismissed speculations regarding the health of its leader, former President Jacob Zuma, confirming that he is in good spirits and excellent health following a scheduled medical visit yesterday.

According to official party statements, the 84-year-old statesman attended a local facility for his standard routine medical check-ups.

The party emphasized that these visits are entirely preventative and part of a regular health management schedule, noting that Zuma undergoes a full comprehensive check-up twice every year to ensure his continued well-being.

Addressing the public anxiety that arose after the former president’s convoy was spotted at a hospital, MK Party National Spokesperson Sifiso Mahlangu clarified that there is absolutely no cause for alarm.

“The president goes and does routine checkups at least twice a year,” Mahlangu stated. “The president is not unwell. He is very much well and alive; it was a regular checkup.”

The party further confirmed that Zuma remains highly energetic and in high spirits.

There will be no disruptions to his upcoming schedule, and his active campaign programme is set to continue exactly as planned.

The MK Party has advised the public and members of the media to disregard unverified rumours or conflicting reports regarding the leader’s condition.

The leadership reiterated that all official party communications and updates concerning the former president and organizational matters are strictly handled by Mahlangu.
