Media Statement
The team reacted to a complaint about occupants in a black VW Polo GTi vehicle shooting randomly in the area. The vehicle was traced and the two occupants attempted to flee on foot however, they were swiftly apprehended. The police found two firearms in their possession and both men were arrested. In a separate incident, the same team arrested a 57-year-old woman for dealing in drugs after she was found in possession of suspected drugs and an undisclosed amount of cash. All arrested suspects are expected to appear before Eldorado Magistrates’ Court on 20 January 2025. The Station Commander of SAPS Eldorado Park expressed satisfaction with the arrests effected and commended the team for their swift response.
