A tragic incident unfolded in Cape Town’s CBD early Saturday morning when a Ferrari struck multiple pedestrians on Buitengracht Street, near the Shortmarket Street intersection. The collision reportedly occurred around 4h55am.
Following the crash, authorities closed Buitengracht Street to traffic to facilitate an investigation, while police and medical teams provided assistance to the victims.
According to a report from Arrive Alive, one person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, and another was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.
