ZWELITSHA – As South Africa will be celebrating Women’s Day tomorrow, a day set aside to celebrate women’s milestones and continuously encourage support in their advancement. The Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Support Services Major General Nolitha Tito accompanied by the Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Crime Detection, Major General Zithulele Dladla and the Amatole District Commissioner, Major General Ngangema Xakavu, took the time and conferred ranks to the newly appointed Station Commanders, who will take up their posts in Mpumalanga. This memorable ceremony took place on Thursday, 8 August 2024, at the Provincial Headquarters. Colonel Nonkoliseko Sango has been appointed as the Station Commander of Ermelo, and Colonel Nyuselwa MKhupha will take her position as the Station Commander of Piet Retief respectively in Mpumalanga In celebration, senior management of the Province gave messages of support and gave the Station Commanders words of wisdom and encouragement and wished them well on the new journey they are about to embark on. Representing the Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Major General Tito touched on different styles of leadership that can be adopted by the pair. She also encouraged them to embrace their new working environment. “Colleagues, go and shine and do not limit yourselves in empowering yourself so that you are in a better position to excel and execute your jobs. Do your best and serve the people of this nation. You have indeed displayed your capabilities, go and represent the Eastern Cape Province, but most importantly, go and serve your creator through the job that awaits you, “she ended. Ends
