GRASSLAND GETS A FACE-LIFT
By. Steven Van Vollenhoven
A joint initiative by the Free State Provincial Government and Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality is transforming infrastructure in Grassland, Bloemfontein, through a comprehensive road rehabilitation and environmental cleanup programme.
Spearheaded by Free State Premier MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae and Mangaung Metro Executive Mayor Gregory Nthatisi, the initiative reflects a coordinated intergovernmental effort to pool resources, restore local infrastructure, promote environmental cleanliness, and enhance overall service delivery.
The programme follows the Premier’s recent visit to Ward 17, where community concerns about deteriorating road conditions and poor service delivery were raised.
