DIMPANE THANKS RAMAPHOSA AS SHE CONCLUDES ACTING SAPS NATIONAL COMMISSIONER TENURE

Acting South African Police Service (SAPS) National Commissioner Lieutenant General Puleng Dimpane has expressed gratitude to President Cyril Ramaphosa for entrusting her with the responsibility of leading the police service in an acting capacity.

In a statement marking the conclusion of her tenure in the acting role, Dimpane thanked the Ministry, SAPS senior management, police members, organised labour and key stakeholders in the fight against crime for their support and cooperation.

She acknowledged their commitment throughout her time at the helm of the country’s police service.

Dimpane also welcomed National Commissioner General Fannie Masemola back to duty, expressing her willingness to continue serving alongside other SAPS members in the interests of the organisation and the country.

Her message comes as Masemola resumes his duties as the head of the national police service.

Dimpane said she remained committed to working with SAPS members to advance the organisation’s mandate and serve the country.
