Media Statement CAPE TOWN – Delft police seek the assistance of the public to trace a person of interest whom they believe can shed light on the circumstances surrounding a house robbery and rape which occurred on Saturday 29 March 2025. Reports suggested that the victims, a 46-year-old man and an 18-year-old female was at their home in Delft when three unknown armed men entered the home and robbed the occupants at gun point. One of the suspects, a Congolese foreign national, raped the 18 year old girl multiple times where after they fled the scene with valuables taken from the scene. At the time of the incident the victim was able to memorise the face of one of the suspects, whom she believed she will be able identify as a person of interest.
