Court update on torching of Putco buses

NELSPRUIT – The four suspects that were arrested by the police in connection with the torching of Putco buses on 28 January 2025, appeared at Mdutjane Magistrate’s Court in Siyabuswa today, Thursday, 13 February 2025. The four were identified as Isaac Mabena (36), Luthando Trevor Skosana (39), Mduduzi Masango (31) and Steven Mthombeni (27).

During their court appearance today, the matter was postponed to Wednesday, 19 February 2025 where they are expected to make a a formal bail application. The suspects remain in custody.
